When customers order through Mealzo, they choose to directly benefit their local community. Unlike other marketplace high commissioners, who charge their partners up to 40% commission per order, Mealzo is a 0% commission portal devoted to helping your local takeaways and restaurants keep their hard-earned money and provide a higher quality of service.

How long does it take to add my takeaway to Mealzo?

We are currently able to get our partners online and begin promoting your brand within 7 working days.

What time can I place my order?

Most of our restaurant and takeaway partners open for service every day from early morning until late at night. You can enter your postcode, find local favourites in your area, and check their availability.

Can I pre-order or schedule for later?

Yes, absolutely. You can select a desired time when placing an online order. This is the preferred choice for restaurants and takeaways as it gives them more time to prepare.

What type of service charges would I get?

Unlike marketplace high commissioners who charge a percentage, we only operate on a 50p service charge per order.

What if there is an issue with my order?

Can I cancel my order?

You can cancel your order if it’s not already being prepared by the restaurant. This is usually a 5-minute window from the moment you place your order. We suggest phoning the restaurant directly. Please let us know as soon as possible and provide your order number so that we can do our best to resolve it.

Which payment methods are accepted?

We accept all major payment methods as well as Google Pay and Apple pay.

Can I tip the delivery driver?

That’s very kind of you! We are working to add this feature to our app and website.

Do you charge for carrier bags?

Some takeaways and restaurants may have an additional cost which will be shown at the checkout.

How can I get a refund?

We recommend contacting the local takeaway or restaurant that you ordered from as they will be able to assist you directly. If you were unable to get in touch with them for whatever reason, you can get in touch with Payeat directly on 0330 113 3463.

Who is Payeat?

PayEat is our secure payment gateway, which processes your card payments when you order from Mealzo! You will likely see the name PayEat on your bank statement after you order from us!

What type of special offers and promotions do Mealzo have?

Our partners offer discounts and promotions exclusive to Mealzo. We can offer up to 50% off or special deals and free delivery.

How can I use my voucher code?

Please apply your code at the check-out by clicking the ‘Enter Code’ button and entering the code into the box that appears.

Why is my voucher code not working?

Vouchers are usually valid for a short period of time, please ensure the date is correct. If it is still not working, please contact us at info@mealzo.co.uk

How can I change my personal details?

You can simply log in to your account and change your details from the account section on the menu bar.

Is my personal data safe with Mealzo?

Yes, absolutely! We would never sell or share your personal data to any third parties. Customer’s data is kept safe with Mealzo and its partners.

How can I change my password?

You can simply log in to your account and change your personal details including your password.

Can I use live tracking for my order?

Mealzo provides live tracking on all orders. Its only available with selected restaurants and takeaways as it relies on their participation. You can check if a shop has live tracking by checking out their shop info icon.

What if my courier is late?

Please contact the shop directly to discuss delivery issues. If the issue is not resolved by contacting the shop, please reach out to us via email and we will do our best to manage the issue for you.

Do I need ID when I order alcohol?

Please keep your ID ready when ordering Alcohol. It will be likely that the restaurant or takeaway you order the alcohol from, will have a Challenge 25 policy in place. If a customer is unwilling to show ID, the shop will have a legal right to refuse service.

Can I leave a review for the delivery driver?

Currently, you can only review the takeaway. In the future, customers will be able to leave individual reviews for drivers and their service.

Can I book a specific time slot to get my delivery?

Yes, customers can select a specific time slot, up to 2 days ahead of time, to receive their orders.

Are deliveries contact-free?

All delivery services are contact-free to keep you and drivers as safe as possible. Please say a quick hello to let them know that you’re there and ready to accept your contact free delivery. Drivers can’t leave orders unattended. Drivers still need to verify your ID when alcohol products are ordered.

What if I am self-isolating?
